Abstract
An adaptive thermal management and energy harvesting system, designed for machine operation, utilizes a dual-loop coolant network (such as a Thermal management system with dual mode coolant loops) to manage localized, transient heat from power electronics or drive components. The system features a dual PCM integrated thermoelectric generator to convert waste heat from these loops into electrical power, and a dual PCM integrated thermoelectric generator to improve efficiency. An adaptive controller adjusts the coolant flow rates to maintain optimal operating temperatures while maximizing the thermal gradient across integrated TEGs, providing enhanced, sustainable, and eco-friendly cooling for machinery
