Abstract
Three Thousand Stitches by Sudha Murthy is a collection of poignant and inspiring stories
that highlight various social issues in India. This research article examines the book through the
lens of postcolonial feminism, exploring how Murthy addresses themes of gender, caste, and
social justice. By applying postcolonial feminist theory, we can better understand the intricacies
of the character’s experiences and the broader implications of their stories within the context of
contemporary Indian society.
