Abstract
An iPad and desktop version of Mind Link EEG is a real-time mental fatigue monitoring
system. It processes raw 512Hz EEG signals by connecting via Bluetooth to the NeuroSky
TGAM1 headset. The app computes cognitive metrics like attention and meditation and
extracts frequency bands using on-device FFT analysis using Apple's Accelerate framework.
A rule-based engine classifies mental states from low to critical by calculating fatigue scores
and cognitive drift. Animated wave gauges, live ECG-style waveforms, session history with
wellness grading, and a multi-channel alert system with push, email, and in-app notifications
are some of the main features. Mind Link provides low-latency, private, and portable
cognitive monitoring for maximum productivity during work or study sessions by integrating
a full signal processing pipeline natively in Swift.
