Abstract

The protection of the rights of women and children remains a pressing concern, particularly in
developing countries like India where socio-economic inequalities persist. Despite
constitutional guarantees and legislative safeguards, violations such as domestic violence, child
labour, trafficking, and discrimination continue to occur. In this context, Non-Governmental
Organizations (NGOs) play a crucial role in bridging the gap between legal provisions and their
implementation.
