Abstract
With the continuous advancement of industrialization, the mechanical manufacturing industry has emerged as a cornerstone of national economic development. This evolution necessitates a strong foundation in mathematics, positioning mathematics courses as critical components of professional education in related fields. However, a significant disconnect persists between the objectives of
professional teaching and the actual delivery of mathematical instruction. This paper employs questionnaire surveys, literature reviews, and analytical methods to identify gaps and weaknesses in current mathematics teaching models. Findings reveal that students
often lack enthusiasm for mathematics and fail to connect with the subject on a deeper level, while educators struggle to inspire genuine interest or engagement. Addressing these issues is essential to aligning mathematics education with the practical needs of industrial disciplines and enhancing its role in professional training.
