Abstract

The AI-Powered Smart Attendance System is an automated solution designed to replace traditional attendance
methods using advanced face recognition technology. This system captures and analyzes facial features in real time
through a camera, accurately identifying individuals and marking their attendance without manual intervention.
By leveraging computer vision and machine learning techniques, the system ensures high accuracy, reduces time
consumption, and eliminates proxy attendance.In addition to attendance marking, the system provides an analytics
dashboard that generates detailed reports such as attendance percentage, daily and monthly records, and absentee
trends. The collected data is securely stored in a database, ensuring reliability and easy access for administrators.
This smart system is highly beneficial for educational institutions and organizations aiming to improve efficiency,
transparency, and security in attendance management.
Overall, the proposed system offers a modern, contactless, and intelligent approach to attendance tracking,
enhancing productivity while minimizing errors and manual effort.
