Abstract

Sangam literature is a great help in understanding the economic conditions of the city of Bukhara, which added glory to the rule of the Chola kings who lived in ancient Tamil Nadu. The content of this article is to conduct a search against the historical background to find cut the importance of the neighboring trading center of Kavenpoompattinam for the merchants.
