Abstract

Crop diseases reduce agricultural productivity and are often difficult to identify manually.
This project develops an AI-Based Crop Leaf Disease Detection System using Deep Learning to
detect diseases from leaf images quickly and accurately.
The system uses a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model trained on leaf images to
classify whether a plant is healthy or diseased. A web application is developed using Flask, where
users can upload leaf images and get instant results.
The system provides the disease name, confidence level, and basic remedies. It helps farmers
take early action, reduces manual effort, and improves crop management.
Overall, this project offers a simple, fast, and effective solution for crop disease detection
using AI.
